COHORT G/FUTURE DETROIT At Palmer Park, students...

The Community Arts Partnerships (CAP) program, of the College for Creative Studies (CCS), collaborates with Detroit community organizations to create art and design education, experiences, and resources for local youth and families in support of individual and community development.

CAP receives general operating support in part from the Fred A. and Barbara M. Erb Family Foundation, Kellogg Foundation, Kresge Foundation, Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, and many others.

COHORT G/FUTURE DETROIT

At Palmer Park, students are focusing on the components that would make Detroit a better city including a green economy and improved transportation system. Students are designing and making models of vehicles. Once those are complete, they will produce a compilation of short clay-mation films of their vehicles traveling through their model of their Future Detroit.

These are just some of the projects underway as part of this initiative for Fall 2012 with CAP!
