We had an excellent group of 70 students visit us from the University Prep Academy: Ellen Thomas campus today!

Here is some feedback from the chaperones:

  • “I feel my students learned that being an artist isn’t just drawing”
  • “I learned that I could possibly be an artist”
  • “I had a great time and took a lot of pictures”
  • “The tour was well done, thorough, and informative - just long enough for young people :)”
  • “I feel my students learned about the design of cars, watches, and other things first start out”
  • “I learned that cars are clay models before being showed to companies”
  • “You guys did a fantastic job…. honestly”
  • “My students learned a few new fields of study”
  • “My students learned about the different careers you can have as an artist. They also learned what your students do at CCS.”
  • “I learned about your after-school programs and that we may be able to send our students there for enrichment”

If you’re interested in bringing your Middle School students on a “Careers in Art & Design Discovery Tour” of the College for Creative Studies, please call CAP Coordinator, Lynn Blasey at 313-664-1545 to discuss the details and schedule your visit.
