Saturdays from 11am-2pm

classes will resume Saturday, January 5th

Community Arts Partnerships held its 2011-2012 Mid-Year Artist In Education (AIE) Training for instructors on Saturday, March 10th. Our Fall hires presented in the morning session and were presented Certificates of Completion in front of the faculty team to kick off the afternoon. Congratulations to our graduates!

In the afternoon, we revisited paperwork requirements as they relate to the different types of programs we provide, site visits and evaluations to better support our faculty, STEM concepts to stay in tune with education trends nationwide, and group work to brainstorm how we can do what we do better.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The use of STEM will be greater emphasized in CAP programs by clarifying & highlighting the connections science, technology, engineering, and mathematics have with the Art and Design field for students.
