CAP is pleased to announce that one of our own, Anahli Vázquez, has been awarded the MANA de Metro Detroit Scholarship!
The MANA de Metro Detroit Scholarship Program was established in 1996 and has been providing scholarships for Latina women yearly. As of today, MANA de Metro Detroit has awarded a total of sixty seven (67) scholarships.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

The Southeastern Michigan Region of the Scholastic Art Awards is sponsored by the College for Creative Studies and supported by volunteer art teachers in Wayne and Oakland Counties. This region receives over 4,000 works of art and almost 300 portfolios from middle school and high school students, which are then adjudicated and selected for Honorable Mentions, Silver and Gold Key Awards, American Vision nominations, and Best of Show Portfolios. The art exhibit and opening ceremony are held annually at the College for Creative Studies. Approximately 1,000 works of art are displayed in this exhibit throughout all four levels of the Walter B. Ford II Building.
