Henry Ford Academy: Elementary School this Fall!
The Henry Ford Learning Institute will be opening and operating an elementary school, known as Henry Ford Academy: Elementary School, in September of 2012. The new tuition-free elementary school will serve 360 students in grades kindergarten through 5, with 60 students in each grade. It will be located in the former Duane Doty Elementary School at 10225 3rd St., in the greater Boston-Edison area, about 11 blocks from the Taubman Center. HFA: Elementary School will have a relentless focus on giving young students the foundation they need to be prepared, creative, passionate, and curious learners.
Though the lottery deadline for HFA: Elementary School has passed, the school is still accepting applications for all grades. If you have an elementary-aged student or know family and friends who have them and would like more information, please visit the HFA: Elementary School website at www.hfaelementary.org, call the Project Manager Staci Williams at 313.231.8613, email her at swilliams@hfli.org, or stop by the HFA: School for Creative Studies’ main office to pick up information and speak with Staci in person.
